If you are a member of the IU community, IU Sexual Assault Crisis Services (SACS) can assist you with whatever you need. SACS has specially trained counselors ready to help you with your crisis 24 hours a day. They can:
- Get you immediate medical care if you need it
- Help you contact law enforcement
- Provide immediate and ongoing psychological support
SACS is located in the Student Health Center at 600 North Eagleson Avenue (at Tenth Street), across from the Wells Library. Counselors are also available by appointment. To schedule an appointment, call 812-855-5711.

If you are an IU Bloomington student or a student’s spouse or dependent, you can get help at the Student Health Center.
The health center has specially trained nurses, called Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners, available to make sure you get the right care and collect evidence for a sexual assault kit to help with any police investigations. Call ahead for SANE exams.
The Student Health Center is located at 600 North Eagleson Avenue (at Tenth Street), across from the Wells Library. It is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The emergency department at IU Health Bloomington Hospital is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to help you. Like the IU Health Center, the hospital has specially trained nurses, called Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners, available to make sure you get the right care and collect evidence for a sexual assault kit to help with any police investigations.
